I've been reading this series of Wheel of Time, I guess if you like the land of LOTR,etc you might like this, needs quite a bit of patience until you get whisked away into the magic land yourself.
You've probably read Fountainhead, one of my all time faves.
Would have followed that up with Gone with the Wind but you said no romance.
There was another that I read recently, Women/Girls of Riyadh, it starts off pretty well.. doesnt really keep the interest after a bit.
Paddy Clarke hahaha by Roddy Doyle was something I just laid my hand on, was pretty highly recommended to me ...

@Prashanth: Ok I know u cant believe I dont like LOTR but FLASHNEWS there are a lot of us here who dont worship Tolkien!!

Hello I do not worship Tolkien... I don't like the bombastic "High Fantasy" style of writing... prefer more down-to-earth fantasy (yes it sounds like an oxymoron). Wheel of Time is not like LOTR at all.

Oh I have read one M&B, which I highly recommend... Morrison & Boyd's book on Organic Chemistry :P :P

Sooo Vc's influence is rubbing off on Myths... at this rate... God save Bangalore!

@Ashu: I have read some books of PC, buy havent checked out his latest.

@Prashanth: I might actually prefer reading Organic Chemistry to other forms of Chemistry :)
